Portsmouth Harbour Dredging Complete

A major Defence Infrastructure Organisation project to dredge Portsmouth Harbour, ready for the arrival of the first of the Royal Navy’s two new Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers, has been completed. A wide range of interesting items were found during the work to clear the harbour and make it wide and deep enough for the 65,000 tonne warships.
