Police are urgently appealing for information on the whereabouts of Muridi Bahdon, 23, as they investigate two recent attempted knife-point robberies in West London. The incidents occurred on 1 July at Earls Court station and on 4 July on board a District Line train.
In the first incident, the victim was approached by a man demanding his watch, who then lunged at him with a large knife. The victim managed to seek refuge behind a shop counter, and the suspect fled the scene. In the second incident, the victim was followed off the train by a man who produced a knife and demanded his watch. The victim sustained lacerations to his head, shoulders, and legs during the attack.
Detectives believe that Muridi Bahdon, from the Shepherds Bush area, may have valuable information related to their investigation. CCTV images of Bahdon have been released to the public, and authorities are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
Detective Constable Steve Faulkner described the incidents as “incredibly concerning” due to the brazen acts of violence in broad daylight at busy Underground stations. He stressed the importance of locating Bahdon and urged the public not to approach him directly but to contact the police with any relevant information.
Passengers are advised to be vigilant while travelling and to keep their valuables out of sight whenever possible. Anyone with information on Muridi Bahdon’s whereabouts is asked to contact the police via text, phone, or emergency services if they spot him in public.
