Police shot at by masked men in East London shoot out Three detained
Scotland Yard confirms three people in custody after a vehicle chase in Forest Gate, east London ended with shots fired at officers. Police returned fire. No suspects or police injured. Police cordon still in place around the scene Met Police Firearm officers responded to calls at around 10.45pm to reports of a firearm being seen on Lascelles Close E11. A vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit occurred. Suspects in the vehicle fired shots at armed CO19 officers; so they reacted with shots back. Three suspects were detained on Bective Road E7 after the pursuit ended and have all been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
