Police Seeking Witnesses to Fraudulent Car Scam in Saltdean

Police are urging potential witnesses to come forward following a fraudulent incident in Saltdean. The local police responded to reports of a car scam in which three individuals posed as prospective buyers interested in purchasing a vehicle for sale. However, their deceptive scheme involved pouring oil onto the engine to negotiate a lower price.

The incident unfolded on Lewes Close on the evening of October 7th, around 7 pm.

To identify those involved in the scam, law enforcement officials are sharing an image of the individuals they seek to speak with in connection to the incident.
