Police Seek Public Assistance In Identifying Arson Suspect

Authorities are urging the public’s help in identifying a man linked to a series of arson and criminal damage incidents in Du Cane Road, W12. The crimes occurred on various occasions in May and September of this year, leaving residents in shock.

The suspect, captured in an image released by the police, is allegedly responsible for setting fire to a car, damaging someone’s front door, and causing criminal damage to multiple properties. Additionally, the individual is believed to carry a large Rambo-style knife in a sheath, which was reportedly used to vandalize a door.

PC Manojh Sivagnanasangar, leading the investigation, emphasized the importance of community assistance. He stated, “Whilst nobody has been physically injured in these attacks, the victims have understandably been left very shaken as they have been targeted in their homes.”

Authorities suspect that the man may be known within the community and are urging anyone with information to come forward. PC Sivagnanasangar said, “We are keen to hear from anyone who can help to identify him.”

Individuals with information relevant to the investigation are encouraged to contact the police at 101 or tweet @MetCC, quoting CRIS 6025129/23. Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 or crimestoppers-uk.org.
