Police Seek Information on Suspected Burglars Posing as Officers in Sevenoaks

Detectives are appealing for information following reports of suspicious activity in Sevenoaks, involving individuals believed to be posing as police officers. The incidents, which took place in the Kippington Road area, are being linked to attempts to steal vehicles and other burglary offences.

At around 9 pm on Wednesday, 11 September 2024, two men wearing tracksuits, black gloves, and vests resembling those worn by police officers approached a property on Kippington Road. The suspects left the scene shortly after.

This incident is being connected to a previous report of suspicious behaviour in the same area on Friday, 23 August, when two suspects wearing balaclavas attempted to steal a car just after 1:30 am, but left empty-handed.

Kent Police have now released images of individuals they would like to identify and question in connection with the incidents.
