Gloucestershire Constabulary has released an image of two individuals they wish to speak to in connection with the theft of a Rolex watch from a jeweller’s shop in Cheltenham last month. The incident took place at a shop on High Street at approximately 13.30 BST on Thursday, June 8.
According to reports, a man and a woman entered the shop and requested to see items from the display. While the woman engaged with a shop assistant to examine an item, the man moved towards the window, where he is suspected of forcefully opening a display case. Seizing the opportunity, he allegedly pocketed the Rolex watch, described as having a grey dial and a black leather strap, encased in chrome and valued at £4,000.
After taking the watch, the man rejoined the woman, and they briefly conversed before leaving the shop. Throughout the incident, two other individuals were spotted waiting outside the store, who later left the scene with the man and the woman.
Police officers have undertaken several inquiries since the incident, but they are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man and woman in order to speak to them about the theft. Any information about their identities can be reported to Gloucestershire Constabulary through their website, with the incident reference number 324 of June 8: https:///www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/
