Police Release CCTV Image in Connection with Shoplifting Incident at Aldi in Chandler’s Ford

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to regarding a shoplifting incident at the Aldi store on Chestnut Avenue, Chandler’s Ford. The theft, which involved a bottle of cognac valued at £19.99, occurred between 4:30 PM and 4:35 PM on Saturday, August 17.

The man in question is described as tall, with short hair, and was seen wearing a black tracksuit and blue trainers at the time of the incident. He was accompanied by a woman described as of medium height, with blonde hair, wearing a green “Jamaica” T-shirt and sunglasses.

Police believe the man and woman may have vital information that could assist the investigation and are urging them, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward.

Authorities are also appealing for witnesses who may have seen the theft or noticed suspicious activity in the area. They are particularly interested in receiving any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam, or doorbell camera footage that may have captured relevant information.
