Police launch search for missing child on the Isle of Wight

Police are searching for a missing person on the Isle of wight this evening Tuesday. The young person has been missing for a number of hours. Police are searching for an 11-year-old boy in the Niton area of the Isle of Wight.   Officers  with the help of a number of members of the public have been searching  out houses and garage around the local area for the missing  youngest. A spokesman for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police  said “That a number of resources have been called  to the area to assist  officers on the ground for the missing 11 year who was last seen at 5pm today .”” A helicopter from the National Police air support is assisting  officers on the ground with the on going  search, Police have also called volunteers from Wight SAR  who are  out searching the back of the village and the recreation ground.   2230 A Police spokesperson has confirmed to that the boy has been found safe and well and is now back with his family
