Police launch Murder Investigation after Man Found Dead in Ryde Flat

Police have launched a murder investigation today (Monday, June 13) after a man’s body was found at an address in Ryde. Officers were called to the flat in East Hill Road, Ryde, at just before 4pm today(Monday). The death is being treated as suspicious. A 53-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death and is currently in police custody. A Police scene guard remains at the address tonight with forensic officers from the Hampshire Major Investigation Team conducting an examination of the flat. There is not thought to be any wider risk to the community. Anyone who was in the area of Leavington House, East Hill Road, Ryde, this afternoon should call 101, quoting Operation Bobble. Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
