The Metropolitan Police have launched a manhunt for Sol Lambert, a 19-year-old man who is currently on the run following his involvement in a firearms incident in Enfield last year. Lambert was originally arrested on October 12, 2023, after an incident that occurred on September 2.
After his initial arrest, Lambert was released on bail pending further inquiries. However, he failed to answer his bail summons on November 29, and he has not been seen since. The police have been actively searching for him for nearly two months, but his whereabouts remain unknown.
The specific details of the firearms incident involving Lambert have not been disclosed to the public at this time. The Metropolitan Police are now seeking the assistance of the community to locate the teenager.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, “If you know where he is, or have information that could help police locate him, please call 101 ref CAD 5236/22JAN24. To remain anonymous, please contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The circumstances surrounding Lambert’s disappearance and the firearms incident are a matter of concern for local authorities and the community. The police are actively working to locate and apprehend him, and any information from the public could prove instrumental in ensuring the safety of the community.
In a related incident that occurred a couple of months after Lambert’s arrest, four teenagers were apprehended on Bullsmoor Lane, the same road where Lambert was arrested, following a violent altercation captured on film. The video footage showed two of the teenagers, wearing black clothing and balaclavas, wielding bladed weapons and engaging in a violent confrontation. One of the teenagers involved was later hospitalized due to knife injuries. Two of the teenagers were subsequently charged, while the other two were released on police bail.
The police urge anyone with information about Sol Lambert’s whereabouts to come forward to assist with their ongoing investigation into the firearms incident.
