Police Launch Manhunt for Absconded Detainee Clifford Taylor

The Metropolitan Police have launched a manhunt for Clifford Taylor, 44, who absconded from a detention centre in Stanmore earlier this morning. Taylor, who has a history of offending, including sexual assault, was last seen at 7:50 AM on January 22.

Taylor was detained under a hospital order in November 2024, and police are urging the public not to approach him if seen.

“We are conducting an extensive search to locate Clifford Taylor. If you see him or have any information about his whereabouts, please call 999 immediately and quote reference 1281/22Jan.”
