Detectives have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted inside a fast-food restaurant in Carshalton.
Police were called to Wrythe Lane at 9.44pm on Tuesday, August 19, following reports that a group of men had attacked a customer inside the premises.
Emergency services attended, and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated the victim at the scene. His injuries were later confirmed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
No arrests at this stage
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that no arrests have yet been made. Detectives say enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible.
