Police Investigating Death of Woman in Great Yarmouth

Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body in Great Yarmouth earlier today.

Officers were called to a property on Middlegate shortly after 2 PM on Tuesday, 19 November 2024, following reports of a woman found unresponsive. Emergency services attended the scene, but the woman believed to be in her 20s, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding her death are currently being treated as unexplained, and a post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted in the coming days to determine the cause of death.

Investigation Underway

A police cordon remains in place at the property while officers carry out investigations. Authorities have not released further details about the woman’s identity or the circumstances leading up to her death.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Police said:
“We are working to establish the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident and would urge anyone with information that could assist our inquiries to come forward.”
