Police are currently investigating an attempted robbery at Ladbrokes, located on Carden Avenue, Brighton, which took place on Sunday evening. Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 7:30 p.m. after a man entered the betting shop and attempted to carry out a robbery.
Although no staff members were physically injured during the incident, it is reported that they were left shaken by the ordeal. Sussex Police responded swiftly, dispatching multiple cars and a dog unit to the scene. However, the suspect has not yet been located.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said, “Detectives investigating the incident are following a number of lines of enquiry.”
