The events occurred at a property on street/”>South Street, Leominster, on Thursday, September 4, and continued into the early hours of Friday, September 5.
Details of the Arrest
The victim, a woman in her 50s, was subjected to false imprisonment and rape. A 50-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of rape, false imprisonment, and administering a poisonous or noxious substance with intent to injure. He has since been released on bail as investigations continue.
Appeal for Witnesses
West Mercia Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious on South Street on Thursday morning.
