Police Investigate Littlehampton Collision Involving Child

Police are seeking witnesses and information following a collision in the Wick area of Littlehampton on Saturday, May 4th.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:30am in Daisyfields and involved a black Mercedes A180 and a grey Ford Transit van. A five-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Mercedes, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the Mercedes, a 35-year-old local woman, was also hospitalised, though her injuries were not serious.

Police Investigate Littlehampton Collision Involving Child

Authorities believe the Ford Transit was unoccupied at the time of the collision.

Investigators are appealing to the public for any relevant CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage that could assist in their inquiry. They are particularly interested in any footage of the vehicles in the area around the time of the incident.

Anyone with information is urged to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 537 of 04/05.
