Police Investigate After Shots Fired in Stechford

West Midlands Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired on Church Lane in Stechford this afternoon.

The incident occurred just before 3.30pm today (Thursday, 27 March). No injuries have been reported, but officers remain at the scene to carry out enquiries and reassure the local community.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said:

“We are investigating after shots were fired on Church Lane, Stechford, just before 3.30pm today.
At this time, there have been no reports of any injuries. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”

Appeal for Witnesses

Police are urging anyone who may have seen the incident or who has information or footage that could help with the investigation to come forward.

Members of the public are asked to call 101, quoting log 3259 of 27 March. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
