Police charge Barking teen with murder and possession of Stun Gun

A 17-year-old male from Barking was charged on Sunday, 26 May with murder; he was also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon (stun gun). He will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 May. He was first arrested on 10 March and initially released under investigation. Three other people have been charged with Jodie’s murder – they are: Manuel Petrovic, 20 of Highfield Road, Romford; A 16-year-old male from Romford; Svenson Ong-a-kwie, 19 of Hillfoot Road, Collier Row. A trial date has been set for Monday, 2 September at the Old Bailey.
