A police car sustained significant damage in a collision while responding to an emergency situation in a bustling town centre.

The incident, which occurred just outside the Manor Park Library on the corner of Romford Road, prompted the establishment of a police crime scene. Reports indicate that the collision involved a police vehicle and another car.

Photographs taken at the scene depict the aftermath of the collision, with one vehicle displaying a noticeable dent as a result of the impact.

According to a statement from the Metropolitan Police, the driver of the second car involved in the collision, a male individual, was transported to the hospital for assessment. Fortunately, his condition was determined to be non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
