FALSE ALARM Police Called to ‘Body’ Only to Find Animal Remains

Police scrambled to a rural spot near Awliscombe on Saturday 18 October after reports of a body being found.

But investigations quickly revealed the remains were not human.

The police cordon and road closures set up at the scene have now been lifted.

Officials thanked the public for their patience and support during the incident.
