Police Called To A Group Of Men Fighting With Knives In East London

A massive altercation broke out on a street in East London tonight, with one individual allegedly armed with a knife. Police rushed to Blair Street in Tower Hamlets, which runs between Poplar and Leamouth, after receiving reports of a fight.

However, the fights withdrew before police arrived just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday (April 26), and no injuries have been reported thus far.

Police were called at 5.41pm on Wednesday, April 26 to reports of a group of people fighting in Blair Street, E14,” a Met Police spokesperson said. Officers responded, and it was stated that one of those involved had a knife. Before officers arrived, those involved had fled the scene. There were no reported injuries, and investigations are proceeding to determine the circumstances.”
