Police appealing For Witnesses After A Teenage Girl Was Hit By A Car In Amesbury

At approximately 8.20am on January 20, the 14-year-old was in collision with a black car in Holders Road as she made her way to school.

As a result of the collision, the girl fell to the ground.  She sustained significant bruising to her hip and rib area which has worsened over the past few days.

The driver of the vehicle involved did not check on the girl’s welfare and did not stop or leave details.

We would urgently like to speak to any pedestrians or drivers in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
