Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Serious Collision on A24 at Beare Green

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision on the southbound carriageway of the A24 Horsham Road earlier this afternoon.

Emergency services were called shortly before 5pm following reports of a serious incident involving a motorcycle. The exact circumstances of the collision are still under investigation.

As a result, the A24 southbound remains closed between the Flint Hill roundabout and the Beare Green roundabout, and drivers are being urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while officers carry out their enquiries.

Police are now asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, dash cam, or helmet cam footage from the area around the time of the collision.

“If you were in the area and saw anything, or have any footage that may help with our investigation, please get in touch quoting reference PR/45250029669,” a police spokesperson said.
