Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman sustained facial injuries in a serious assault on Underhill Road earlier this morning.
The incident occurred around 10:30 am, prompting the response of emergency services, including an air ambulance that landed nearby to provide urgent medical assistance.
A man in his 20s, who is known to the victim, has been arrested in connection with the assault. The woman’s condition has not yet been disclosed.
