Police Appeal for Witnesses After Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Winchester Road Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a collision on Winchester Road, Shedfield, at the junction with the A334. The incident occurred at 10:44 AM on Friday, 20 September.

A black Triumph Bonneville motorcycle was travelling south along the B2177 Winchester Road when it collided with a blue Mitsubishi Outlander. Reports suggest that the Mitsubishi had pulled into the road from the offside junction, attempting to join the flow of traffic heading south.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained serious leg injuries and was transported to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.

Police are eager to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dash cam footage of the incident.
