Police Appeal for Witnesses After Knife Attack in Newham Leaves Man Hospitalised
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man in his 20s was stabbed during a violent group assault in East London.
At approximately 01:00hrs on Friday, 18 July, officers were called to North Woolwich Road, Newham, following reports of a serious assault involving multiple males armed with knives.
Emergency services, including paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, responded swiftly. The victim, who sustained multiple stab wounds, was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital.
Police say his injuries have since been assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
Appeal for Information
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are urgently appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage, or mobile phone recordings that could shed light on what took place.
We are aware of videos circulating online, and we’re asking the public to help us understand the full circumstances of this attack,” a Met Police spokesperson said.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and the investigation remains active.
