Police Appeal for Help Identifying Man After Woman Assaulted in Robertsbridge

Police are urgently seeking the public’s help to identify a man linked to a serious assault that took place in Robertsbridge earlier this month.

On the night of July 2, between approximately 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m., a woman in her 30s was reportedly assaulted in Station Road. Both the woman and the man were said to have been inside the Robertsbridge Social Club prior to the incident.

Following the attack, the woman was taken to hospital where she was treated for a serious facial injury. She has since been discharged but the severity of the injury has raised concern among officers.

Authorities have released photos of the man they wish to speak with and are appealing for anyone who may recognize him or who witnessed the incident to come forward. Additionally, anyone with footage or other relevant information is encouraged to report it to the police.

Those with information can contact the police by calling 101 or submitting a report online, quoting reference number 117 of July 2.

The police are committed to ensuring the safety of the Robertsbridge community and are appealing for help to bring justice in this case.
