Police were called at 9.40am on Sunday after the body of an 83 year-old man was found next to a footpath in The Grove, close to Plymouth Drive.

The area was closed off to members of the public whilst an investigation took place.

Police have since said;

The death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.

A file will be prepared for the Coroner in due course.”
