Lancashire Police are seeking public assistance in identifying three individuals involved in a shocking robbery at Royal Preston Hospital. The incident occurred near the hospital’s main entrance on November 17, leaving a patient in his 40s traumatised.
The victim, who was in a wheelchair at the time of the robbery, fell victim to a harrowing ordeal. At approximately 5.30pm on that fateful day, he was approached by three assailants who forced him into a restroom within the hospital premises. Inside the restroom, the suspects threatened him and proceeded to steal cash from his pockets before making their escape.
Despite the passage of time since the incident, the Police remain committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice. In a bid to advance their investigation, authorities have released CCTV images captured from within the hospital. These images depict the three men suspected of involvement in the robbery.
A police spokesperson issued an appeal to the public, saying, “We know that some time has passed, and investigations have been ongoing since the incident, but we are now asking for your help as we believe the people in these images may be able to help with our investigation.”
