Patient Airlifted from St Mary’s Hospital on the Isle of Wight
The Coastguard Helicopter Rescue 175 has flown across to the Isle of Wight to carry out a medical transfer from the Island’s St Mary’s Hospital this afternoon. The rescue helicopter from Lee on the Solent landed back at its base to be met by a Coastguard search and Rescue team from Hillhead who assisted in the medical transfer. Patient transferred into the care of South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
