One Person Cut Free From Multi-vehicle Collision On The A40 In Oxfordshire

This evening at around 5.30pm Oxfordshire fire and rescue crews from Witney Fire Station, Carterton Fire Station and Kidlington Fire Station were called to reports of a multi-vehicle collision on the A40 near to Barnard Gate. Working alongside our colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, Thames Valley Air Ambulance and Thames Valley Police 1 person was released from their vehicle using hydraulic rescue equipment and a further 4 people were treated at the scene, all were taken to hospital and injuries are not thought to be too serious.
