A man has died and four others have been injured during a series of violent stabbings across London over a two-day period between Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, according to the Metropolitan Police.

The wave of incidents, which occurred in Archway, Norbury, Streatham, and Twickenham, has once again heightened concerns about knife crime in the capital.

Archway: Man Stabbed at Underground Station

At 6:10pm on Friday, Archway Underground Station was closed after police were called to reports of an assault.

A man was found with a stab wound to his leg. Emergency services treated him at the scene before transporting him to hospital.

Police have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening.

Norbury: Two Boys Stabbed, Woman Arrested

In Norbury, police were called to Acacia Road before 10pm on Friday evening following a stabbing attack.

Two boys, whose ages have not been disclosed, were found injured and rushed to hospital. Their injuries are described as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.

A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm and remains in custody as enquiries continue.

Streatham: Man Stabbed Outside Busy Station

Shortly before 2am on Saturday morning, a man was stabbed outside Streatham Station on Streatham High Road.

He was taken to hospital, where doctors confirmed his injuries were not life-threatening.

The attack took place near a busy south London transport hub, raising further alarm about public safety.

Twickenham: Man Killed in Fatal Stabbing

Tragically, a stabbing in Twickenham proved fatal.

Police were called to Ellerman Avenue just before 11:40pm on Saturday, where Harpal Singh Roopra, aged 38, was found seriously injured.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, Mr Roopra was pronounced dead at the scene.

George Luka, 45, of Ellerman Avenue, has been charged with murder and is due to appear in court.
