Kent Police attended the Racecourse Park area on the morning of Saturday 21 August 2021 and the body of a man was later located.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, however, the family of an 84-year-old man who was reported missing on Tuesday 17 August have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
