Officers Are Appealing For Witnesses To Come Forward Following A Reported Robbery In Canterbury High Street

At around 7pm on Wednesday 1 November, a man with an orange push bike was approached near to the junction with Whitefriars Street and Canterbury Lane by two men.

It’s alleged that one of the men, who is believed to be known to the victim, made threats and stole his mobile phone.

Shortly after the incident, a 39-year-old man from Canterbury was arrested in the area on suspicion of robbery and has been released on bail while detectives continue their investigation.

Detectives believe a number of people who were in the area at the time may be able to provide further information that could assist with their enquiries.
