Officers Are Appealing For The Public’s Help To Find A Man Who Has Gone Missing From Weymouth

Shawn Mears, 32, was last seen in Goldcroft Avenue on the morning of Sunday 27 February 2022 and contacted family at around 1.40pm via a messaging app. He is described as white, five feet seven inches tall, of slim build and with short brown hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap and a long green coat with a fur-trimmed hood. Chief Inspector Matt Baxter, of Dorset Police, said: “We know Shawn has been upset and we are very concerned for him. I would urge anyone who has seen Shawn, or a man matching the description given, to please contact Dorset Police. “I am also making a direct plea to Shawn if you see this appeal to please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are, as we just want to ensure you are safe.” Anyone with information or knowledge as to Shawn’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 27:286.
