The Metropolitan Police, responding to reports of a missing individual in the Barnehurst area, stumbled upon the grim scene at the Perry Street location on February 12.

The search operation, which commenced on the evening of February 11, involved an extensive effort from law enforcement, including the utilization of a police helicopter and the London Fire Brigade’s drone unit. Despite the exhaustive efforts, the outcome was tragically sombre.

London Ambulance Service promptly responded to the distress call, dispatching an incident response officer and members of the hazardous area response team to the golf club. Regrettably, their medical intervention could not alter the outcome, as the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
