Nine year old school girl left fighting for her life after collision in Sunbury

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a white van and a pedestrian in Sunbury this afternoon, Friday 10 November.

The incident happened at around 3.50pm in Staines Road East near Junction with The Avenue, Sunbury. The pedestrian, a 9-year-old girl, sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital by air ambulance. The Avenue and the A308 Staines Road East between M3 and BP petrol station are currently closed whilst police carry out an investigation of the scene.
