New Arrest In Mikey Roynan Murder Case Adds Twist To Ongoing Probe

In a significant development in the investigation into the tragic death of 16-year-old Mikey Roynan, detectives have arrested a 15-year-old boy from Wiltshire. Mikey lost his life after a stabbing incident at a property in Bath on Saturday, 10 June.

The latest arrest, made on Sunday, 22 October, brings a new dimension to the ongoing probe. The 15-year-old suspect is currently in police custody, facing allegations of Mikey Roynan’s murder. The family of the deceased teenager has been informed of this recent development and continues to receive support from dedicated family liaison officers.

Prior to this arrest, two teenagers, a 15-year-old boy from Dorset and a 16-year-old boy from Wiltshire, had already been charged with Mikey’s murder under the joint enterprise principle. Additionally, both face charges related to the possession of an offensive weapon. Their next court appearance is scheduled at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday, 7 November.
