NCA Believes Five of UK’s Most Wanted Could Be Hiding in London

The National Crime Agency (NCA), responsible for combating serious and organized crime in the UK, believes that five of the country’s most wanted individuals may be hiding in London. The NCA, often tasked with handling investigations crossing regional and international borders, has issued an urgent appeal to the public for information.

Authorities are warning that none of the individuals should be approached by members of the public. In the case of an emergency, people are advised to call 999 immediately. Here are the names and backgrounds of the five individuals:

1. Jack Mayle

Jack Mayle, from Croydon, is wanted on suspicion of supplying controlled substances such as MDMA, diazepam, and methylphenidate. He is also alleged to have run a drug line called Flavour Quest, operating in South London and Surrey. According to authorities, he collaborated with a dark web drug dealer, buying and selling drugs for onward distribution.

Mayle has a distinctive appearance with tattoos reading “Croydon” on his left forearm, a diamond tattoo under his left eye, and “money never sleeps” on his left hand. He is described as 5ft 11in tall, muscular, and around 30 years old. Mayle is known to carry weapons, is a gym enthusiast, and follows a vegan diet.

2. Christakis Philippou

Christakis Philippou, also known as Christakis Chrysostomou, is alleged to have been involved in a major travel fraud scheme between 2004 and 2006. He and his associates are said to have acquired or set up travel agencies, offering cut-price holidays that undercut legitimate companies. Around 20,000 customers were left without holidays when the agencies ceased trading.

Philippou is believed to be in London and is described as 165cm tall, with grey receding hair and tan skin.

3. Ersin Mustafa

Ersin Mustafa is wanted in connection with insider trading. As a former employee of JP Morgan Cazenove’s London branch, he is suspected of providing confidential information about future acquisitions and mergers to others. The group involved is said to have made approximately £2.5 million from the trades.

Mustafa was arrested in 2008 but fled the UK in December 2009 after being released on bail. The NCA believes he could be in London. He is described as 165cm tall, with a stocky build, dark hair, and tanned skin.

4. Daniel Dugic

Daniel Dugic is suspected of being involved in a conspiracy to import 255 kilos of cocaine into the UK in 2011. The operation allegedly involved a small UK vessel meeting a commercial container ship in the English Channel to transfer the drugs. While Dugic was not on board, he is believed to have played a key role in organizing the shipment.

Originally from Serbia, Dugic is thought to be hiding in London.

5. John Barton

John Barton was sentenced in absentia to 20 years in prison for conspiring to import large quantities of heroin into the UK between 1999 and 2000. Despite his sentencing in 2003, Barton has remained at large. He is believed to have connections to Fuengirola in Spain, as well as London.

Barton is described as 170cm tall, with a medium build and dyed receding hair.

Public Warning and Appeal

The NCA has urged the public not to approach these individuals if spotted. Instead, anyone with information is encouraged to contact law enforcement. The agency is committed to locating these fugitives and bringing them to justice.

If you have any information, contact the NCA or your local police, and in case of an emergency, dial 999 immediately.
