Murdered Eastleigh Man named as Sagar Bhatti

Friends and family have paid tribute to the Eastleigh man who was pushed in front of a car in the early hours of Sunday morning in Eastleigh and died. The Sister of murdered Sagar Bhatti, a HSBC bank worker who named her brother said that it is a complete waste of life. Not only has my brothers life and my family’s life been destroyed those involved have also destroyed their own lives and for what. My baby brother I’m dying inside every moment. Two men remain in custody after major crime officers arrested the men on suspicion of murder. Officers spent all of Sunday combing the area for clues. The cordon was lifted late on Sunday. Police returned on Monday and sealed off a wooded area near to Woodside Avenue, Eastleigh and carried out a further search. Officers confirmed that the search was related to the murder investigation Officers were called at 5.44am on Sunday 10 March to a reports of two vehicles being in a collision with a pedestrian on Woodside Avenue. The man from Chandlers Ford, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers are continuing their enquiries to ascertain the exact circumstances of how the man died.
