A detective involved in the case stated, “The circumstances surrounding Mr. Davidson’s death are suspicious, and as such, we have launched a full murder inquiry.” The detective also confirmed that the two suspects remain in custody as the police continue to gather evidence and conduct further interviews.

The area around Donegall Avenue was cordoned off as forensic teams examined the scene for clues. The local community has expressed shock and concern over the incident, with many locals offering their assistance to the ongoing police investigation.

The PSNI is appealing to anyone who might have seen anything unusual or suspicious in the area around the time Mr. Davidson went missing to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who may have noticed unusual activities near the Donegall Avenue property in the days leading up to the discovery of Mr. Davidson’s body.

The investigation is ongoing, and further updates are expected as the police make progress. The PSNI has reassured the public that they are doing everything possible to uncover the circumstances of Kevin Davidson’s death and bring those responsible to justice.
