In a shocking incident in Scarisbrick, a 75-year-old man was tragically shot dead in a field, prompting a swift response from Lancashire Police. The victim was discovered on Pinfold Lane at approximately 4.55pm on Thursday, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have arrested a 29-year-old man from Scarisbrick in connection with the murder. A shotgun was recovered at the scene, which is believed to be linked to the incident.
