Why the Closures Are Necessary

A National Highways spokesperson explained:

“We need to renew closed-circuit TV cameras, which assist with traffic management on the M20. To do this safely, traffic management and diversions will be in place.”

Impact on Drivers

Commuters and local residents are advised to plan their journeys and allow extra travel time during the overnight closures. National Highways has encouraged drivers to check live updates and diversion routes before setting off.

Further updates will be provided as the works progress.
