In yet another alarming incident highlighting the precarious situation faced by migrants in Northern France, a violent altercation erupted in Oye-Plage, France, leaving several individuals injured with knife wounds. The incident, which occurred overnight from April 7th to April 8th, has sparked a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack.

Among those injured are a 20-year-old Sudanese man and a 24-year-old Sudanese woman, both of whom sustained multiple stab wounds. The man suffered several cuts, while the woman was stabbed in the rib cage. Additionally, three other individuals, primarily men, sustained minor injuries during the altercation.

Emergency responders, including firefighters and police, swiftly intervened to provide medical assistance to the victims. The injured were treated at the scene before three of them were transported to Calais hospital centre for further evaluation.

The group believed to be responsible for the violence attempted to flee the area but was apprehended by law enforcement officers, despite facing significant resistance.
