The Metropolitan Police have released images of 16 potential witnesses they are eager to speak to in connection with the murder of Mussie Imnetu, a 41-year-old chef who was fatally stabbed near the Notting Hill Carnival last month.
Mussie Imnetu, who was visiting the UK from Dubai, where he lived and worked, was found unconscious with a head injury outside the Dr Power restaurant in Queensway, west London, at approximately 11:22 pm on 26 August. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, he tragically passed away in hospital on 30 August.
Imnetu, who had previously worked under renowned chefs Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing, was in the UK for a visit when the fatal incident occurred. The circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear, and police are continuing their investigation into what happened that night.

Detectives are urging the public to come forward if they recognize any of the individuals in the released images. They are considered key witnesses who may have valuable information that could assist in piecing together the events leading to Imnetu’s death.

The Met Police remain committed to finding those responsible for the attack and have urged anyone with information to contact them or Crimestoppers anonymously.
As the investigation continues, the local community remains in shock at the loss of a talented chef whose life was cut short under tragic circumstances.
