Manhunt for Armed Robbery in Dartford

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is appealing for information following a report of a robbery at a convenience store in Dartford. Officers were called to the Co-op store, in Colney Road, just after 10pm on Thursday 17 May following a report that a man threatened staff with what appeared to be a handgun before leaving with a quantity of cigarettes and money. The suspect, who had left the scene on foot, is described as being around 6ft tall and of medium build. He was wearing dark clothing at the time. No one was hurt during the incident. Investigating officers would like to speak with anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information regarding this incident. Witnesses are asked to call Kent Police on 01303 289600 quoting XY/29338/18. Alternatively call Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
