Man with Downs missing from Islington

Police appeal to find 45-year-old man with Down’s syndrome missing from Islington Police are asking the public to look out for a high risk missing person from Islington. Ali Said, 45, has been missing from his home address in Northampton Park since 9pm on Friday night. Ali has Down’s syndrome and may appear in distress; he is only familiar with his surrounding areas and if further away becomes anxious when can bring on feinting. Ali is not believed to have any cash or a phone and does not speak any English, only Swahili. He was seen in the Newington Green Road, N1 area but has not been seen since. It is not known where he might have gone and he could be anywhere in London. He is believed to be wearing a khaki green jumper and black leather jacket. Anyone who sees Ali should call police on 101 quoting reference 8003
