Man takes to Asda roof in Bexleyheath

A man remains of the roof of the towns Asda this evening. The Met police have said that they have sent a number of officers to the store. Police have yet to reveal why the man is up on the roof or if he has made any demands. it is also understood that the man has a weapon with him The One shopper claims that the man is threatening to jump from the building. LAS have also sent resources to the incident. A spokesman for Asda UK said that they were working Police to bring the incident to close. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said they were called at about 10.30am to concerns for the safety of a man.
