A man has been taken to hospital with a head injury after an assault at a home in west London. The incident occurred on Sinclair Road, near Hofland Road, around 8:30 am today (October 1).
Officers from the Metropolitan Police, along with London Ambulance Service personnel, arrived at the scene where they found a man with an injury to his head. He was treated by paramedics and subsequently taken to hospital. The injuries were assessed as not serious.

Another man, known to the victim, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said, “Police were called at approximately 08:20hrs on Tuesday, 1 October to reports of an assault at an address in Sinclair Road, W14. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A man was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury; his injury is not serious. A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH – he remains in custody. Both parties are known to each other. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
The London Ambulance Service also provided a statement: “We were called at 8.25 am this morning (1 October 2024) to reports of an incident in Sinclair Road, W14. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews. Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to hospital.”
Police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
